ABOUT

Our Counselor in Training program gives you an unique training opportunity to aid those interested in returning as a camp counselor, work in a day care or after-school program, or become a coach or mentor for younger children. Our CIT program is specifically designed for teens who are interested in working with children. We teach critical counseling skills, behavior management, and instruction techniques. Being a CIT is about learning practical skills that you will use every day here at camp. You will be assigned a cabin to help with everything from running activities to working with homesick campers.

After completion of the training week, our CITs are invited to serve two volunteer weeks alongside our camp counselors.

To be admitted into this program, you must fill out an application, reference forms, and complete an interview with our Summer Camp director.
